Some roadwork resuming

Seems like it's been ages since I had any roadwork to warn you about. But as the pavement starts to peek through the snow, some activity is about to resume. Here's an example in Tysons Corner -- it's part of the Dulles Metrorail construction project.

Route 123/Beltway Ramp
Watch for short overnight closings of the Capital Beltway entrance ramps from southbound Dolley Madison Boulevard (Route 123) late this week. The ramps will be closed between midnight and 5 a.m. Thursday and Friday nights so workers can narrow the ramps and install barriers.

Thursday night: The ramp from southbound Route 123 to the Beltway's inner loop (northbound I-495) will close. Traffic will be directed to use the on-ramp to the outer loop (southbound I-495), then exit to northbound Route 123 to reach the on-ramp to the inner loop.

Friday night: The ramp from southbound Route 123 to the outer loop (southbound I-495) will close. Traffic will be directed to continue south on Route 123, turn right on International Drive, right on Galleria Drive, right on Tysons Boulevard, then make a slight left onto northbound Route 123 to reach the ramp to the outer loop.
