Comment on King St. Station redo?

Alexandria commuters have until Monday to submit suggestions for the $4.3 million King Street Metro station redesign|http://alexandriava.gov/localmotion/info/default.aspx?id=29706.

The area surrounding the Metro station is slated for safety and accessibility improvements. Some of the proposals included in the initial design are a series of pedestrian barriers, walkway canopies, and relocating taxi stands and bicycle lockers.

After the final design, stakeholders hope to complete construction within two years.
