VRE riders urged to consider taking different trains
Virginia Rail Express announced that Train No. 307 on the Fredricksburg Line, which is scheduled to leave Union Station at 4;40 p.m., will be two cars short this afternoon due to a mechanical problem.
Because of possible crowding, officials are advising riders that they should consider taking train No. 305, which departs Union Station at 4:05 p.m., or No. 309 (5:15 p.m.).
