Conn. Ave. blocked due to fire

Original post: Emergency crews responding to a fire in the 1800 block of Connecticut Avenue NW have the street blocked in both directions while they battle the blaze on the fourth floor of a six-story apartment building.
According to fire officials, the fire is under control and there are no injuries. However, expect traffic delays in the vicinity.
