Headaches on the horizon
Tysons traffic delay
Another caisson test for the Dulles Metrorail construction is scheduled for 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday near the ramp from southbound Route 123 to eastbound Route 267 (the Dulles Connector Road). The ramp is closed to traffic through June for the construction project.
As in the previous tests, flaggers and police will stop traffic from entering adjacent roads during the testing. State police will halt traffic along Route 123 and the exit ramp from Route 267 for less than 10 minutes when the test is conducted. The test will produce a very loud noise similar to a small explosion.
