MARC Penn Line schedule changes

Major Amtrak track work scheduled to begin today will impact Penn Line commuters. The Penn Line schedule will shift every 4 to 5 weeks as work progresses north on the tracks. These are the changes in effect Monday (the next set of scheduled changes is April 19):

- Train 400 departs Washington four minutes earlier at 5:50 a.m. and New Carrollton
four minutes earlier at 6:01 a.m. Until April 19, it will not stop at Seabrook. It will depart Bowie State eight minutes earlier at 6:06 a.m., Odenton 7 minutes earlier at 6:12 a.m., and BWI Marshall Airport as currently scheduled at 6:26 a.m.

- Train 402 (departs Washington at 6:45 a.m.) will add a stop at Seabrook at 6:59 a.m.
until April 19, when the Seabrook stop will be restored to train 400.

- Train 450 (departs Washington at 5:10 p.m.) will not stop at Seabrook for the
entire duration of this project. MARC recommends the B27 Metrobus for Seabrook passengers; the MARC weekly or monthly pass will be honored at no extra charge.

- Train 538 will depart Washington five minutes later at 6:10 p.m. and will depart all
stations en route to Perryville five minutes later.
