Orange & Blue lines return to normal

10:30 a.m. Update: An earlier train malfunction at Federal Triangle has been resolved but is causing delays to Largo and New Carrollton.

8:55 A.M. UPDATE:

-- Some debris in the road on I-495 Inner Loop past Bradley Boulevard could cause Inner Loop delays.

-- A disabled vehicle on MD 5 North at Allentown Road is blocking one of the northbound off-ramps.

-- There's heavy traffic on I-495 North at I-66 and also heavy traffic intermittently on I-395 North.

8:25 A.M. UPDATE:

-- A disabled vehicle on I-95 North/the Beltway at Telegraph Road has closed the north center lane.

-- An accident on MD 5 North at Allentown Road is going to slow down northbound traffic.

7:55 A.M. UPDATE:

-- On I-66 East, the right lane and right shoulder remain closed at Lee Highway.

-- Traffic is very heavy on I-495 North leading to Arlington Boulevard.

7:35 A.M. UPDATE:

-- An accident at I-66 East has closed the right lane and right shoulder at Lee Highway.

-- An accident on I-95 South in Newington has closed the south right lane.

-- The earlier accident on I-495 North at Gallows Road has been moved to the right shoulder, but delays are still lingering and heavy traffic has built up as a result of the earlier lane closure.

7:20 A.M. UPDATE:

-- MARC Penn Line train 402 will be running 15 to 20 minutes late, owing to that disabled Amtrak train on the tracks we mentioned earlier. And Camden Line train 847 left the Camden station 30 minutes late, according to the Maryland Transit Administration.

7:10 A.M. UPDATE:

-- Another hiccup for MARC riders -- Camden Line train 847 is going to leave the Camden Station between 25 and 30 minutes late because a freight train blocking the tracks.

7 A.M. UPDATE:

-- MARC Penn Line train 402 is running expressly from the District to Baltimore, due to a disabled Amtrak train ahead on the tracks. Train 506 will make an additional stop at the Seabrook station.

-- An accident on I-495 North at Gallows Road has closed the north right center lane.

-- There's police and fire activity in the 3900 block of Alabama Avenue in Southeast.

6:45 A.M. UPDATE:

-- A disabled vehicle on I-495 South has closed the right shoulder at the G.W. Parkway.

6:25 A.M. UPDATE:

-- An accident on I-66 East at Sully Road has closed the left shoulder.

-- There's police and fire activity at the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Irving Street in Northwest.

-- There's also a minor accident on 12th and K streets in Northwest.

ORIGINAL POST:

-- A disabled vehicle on I-395 North is blocking the left shoulder of the H.O.V. lanes shortly before the 14th Street Bridge, so that might cause delays.
