New York Ave. inbound slow

Here's a roundup of the traffic issues facing commuters this morning. It's going to be a wet one, so be prepared when you head out there.

10 A.M. UPDATE: A train malfunction at Judiciary Square has been cleared but delays continue to Glenmont.

9:55 A.M. UPDATE: Traffic continues to be slow on I-395 and the 14th Street Bridge inbound. If you're headed in that direction, allow extra time.

8:55 A.M. UPDATE:

-- Traffic is slow on I-95 North before the Springfield Interchange.

-- The traffic on I-66 East at Nutley Street has improved. It's still sluggish, but it's better.

-- The left lane of I-495 South remains closed at Route 7.

8:25 A.M. UPDATE:

7:30 A.M. UPDATE:

-- The lanes on I-66 East at Nutley Street have reopened, but traffic remains very heavily backed up.

-- An accident on I-95 South at I-495 West in Prince George's County has closed one of the southbound off-ramps.

7:05 A.M. UPDATE:

-- The Orange Line delays have cleared up.

-- The I-95/Inner Loop at Pennsylvania Avenue lanes are all clear as well.

-- A disabled vehicle on I-495 North has blocked the north exit ramp at the Little River Turnpike.

6:45 A.M. UPDATE:

-- The disabled vehicle on I-66 East has been moved from the east center lane to the shoulder. But due to the earlier accident, the east right center lane, right lane, and right shoulder remain closed. So the two lanes on the left are getting by.

-- There's a disabled vehicle on I-495 South at Braddock Road and a disabled vehicle on I-495 North at Little River Turnpike.

-- Traffic on I-66 East is just packed at the Beltway.

-- An accident on I-95/Inner Loop at Pennsylvania Avenue in Prince George's is going to cause inner loop delays.

6:30 A.M. UPDATE:

Delays on the Orange Line -- a train malfunction at the West Falls Church station is causing delays heading towards New Carrollton.

6:15 A.M. UPDATE:

-- A disabled car on I-66 East is blocking the east left center lane after Nutley Street. There's also an accident on I-66 East in the same area that has closed the east right center lane, right lane and right shoulder. Only the left lane is getting by, so expect delays.

-- An incident involving two cars is blocking one northbound lane and one northbound shoulder of I-270 North just north of MD 121.
