Parking filling up at National Airport

5:55 P.M. UPDATE: The parking situation has eased somewhat. There are now 105 spaces in the economy lot.

4 P.M. UPDATE: The number of spaces available in the economy lot have more than doubled in the last two hours, but there were still only about 54 spaces available, about 2 percent of the total.

Original post: According to data supplied by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, the economy parking at Reagan National is just about all taken. At 2:50 p.m., only 21 spaces were available out of 2,971 spaces. Daily garages B & C had only about 7 percent of their 4,673 spaces available. Daily garage A had 72 of 520 spaces. There was plenty of hourly parking if you're just dropping by the airport.

To check what parking is available before you head out for your spring break trip, visit the airport's parking tracker.
