Suspect jailed in Largo station rape
Prince George's County authorities have jailed a 19-year-old man arrested by Metro Transit Police last month in connection with a carjacking and rape at the parking garage at Metro's Largo Town Center Station.
The news was first reported by the Washington Examiner.
Metro Transit Police detectives investigating a Feb. 5 carjacking and rape returned to the station and spotted the stolen car and watched it, arresting suspect Jonathan David Duffy after he returned to the vehicle, Metro spokeswoman Cathy Asato said.
Duffy was with a missing 13-year-old girl and was also charged with sexually assaulting her.
"It's unfortunate that a second series of crimes occurred, but the detectives were doing their job," Asato said.
According to the Examiner's report, Duffy remains in custody without bail.

Criminals are stupid. This idiot had the nerve to continue to return to the same station with the car?
