395 jammed at 14th Street Bridge

Here's a look at some traffic headaches this morning:

8:45 A.M. UPDATE:

-- Traffic on I-66 East is less backed up leading to Nutley Street. But there's still congestion on I-495 North at I-66 and I-395 North leading to the 14th Street Bridge.

-- The I-270 North lanes have reopened.

8:25 A.M. UPDATE:

-- The lanes on I-270 North remain closed at I-370.

-- I-66 West is backed up at Sycamore Street.

-- I-66 East is still crowded leading up to Nutley Street.

-- I-495 North is still slow leading to I-66.

-- I-395 North is still slow for much of the roadway, particularly at the 14th Street Bridge.

-- The accident on I-270 North at I-370 is blocking one northbound lane and one northbound shoulder.

-- Traffic is backed up very badly on I-395 North at the 14th Street Bridge, which is causing delays to snake through much of the rest of that roadway.

-- There's also heavy traffic on I-95 North leading up to the Springfield Interchange.

7:35 A.M. UPDATE:

-- It's still congested on I-395 North (at the 14th Street Bridge), I-66 East (at Nutley Street) and I-495 North (at I-66).

-- An accident on I-270 North at I-370 is going to slow northbound traffic.

7:10 A.M. UPDATE:

-- I-66 East is heavily congested at Nutley Street.

-- I-395 North remains crowded at the 14th Street Bridge as well as Duke Street.

-- I-495 North also remains slow leading up to Gallows Road.

6:50 A.M. UPDATE:

-- I-395 North is congested at the 14th Street Bridge.

-- I-495 North is packed at Gallows Road, and it's slow leading up to that point.

-- I-66 East has the customary delays at Sudley Road and Chain Bridge Road, so you can expect traffic snags at those places.

6:20 A.M. UPDATE:

-- I-395 North is slow at Seminary Road and Duke Street.

-- The shoulder of I-495 South isn't blocked anymore.

-- Traffic is starting to pick up on I-66 East at Chain Bridge Road.

-- A disabled vehicle is blocking the right shoulder of I-495 South at the Georgetown Pike.

-- There's also a disabled vehicle blocking the I-95/Outer Loop right off ramp at U.S. 50.

-- An accident on I-95 North in the reversible lane is going to slow traffic just before the Springfield Interchange.
