Delays possible on K St. NW

The MTA Commuter bus alerted its riders this afternoon that delays are possible on K Street NW between Connecticut Avenue and 17th Street NW because of underground work. On Wednesday, traffic was snarled as Pepco crews worked in an open manhole. A District Department of Transportation spokesman was not aware of any work scheduled for this afternoon, but you may want to avoid the area.
