Headaches on the horizon

Beltway HOT lanes
This work is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Lanes closed
Two right lanes of I-495 north (inner loop) at Exit 49 ( I-66) will close for steel beam erection. Expect full intermittent closures for up to half an hour after midnight.

Roads closed
-- I-495 west (inner loop) will close at Exit 169 B/A Springfield-Franconia (Route 644) for steel beam erection. Through traffic will be directed to take Exit 170, to I-395 north to Exit 2B, Edsall Road west, then stay to the right following signs for I-395 south and take Exit 1C to I-495 north (inner loop).

Ramps closed
-- I-495 south (outer loop) ramp to Exit 52B, Little River Turnpike (Route 236) east, will close for demolition preparation. Traffic will be directed to continue south to Exit 54B, Braddock Road (Route 620) east, then stay to the right following signs to I-495 north and Exit 52B, Little River Turnpike (Route 236).
-- Little River Turnpike (Route 236) west ramp to I-495 south (outer loop) will close for demolition preparation. Traffic will be directed to take I-495 north to Exit 51, Gallows Road (Route 650) north, stay to the right following signs for I-495 south.
-- I-66 west ramp to I-495 south (outer loop) will close for steel beam erection. Traffic will continue west and take Exit 62, Nutley Street, stay to the right following signs for the I-66 east, and follow signs to I-495 south.
-- I-66 east right general purpose exit ramp to I-495 north (inner loop) will close for steel beam erection. Traffic will be directed to use the left HOV exit ramp to I-495 north.
-- I-495 north ramp to Exit 49B, I-66 east, will close for steel beam erection. Traffic will be directed to take Exit 49C, a left exit to I-66 west, and drive to Exit 62, Nutley Street, then stay to the right following signs to I-66 east.
-- I-495 north ramp to exit 49, I-66 west (right exit) will close for steel beam erection. Traffic will be directed to use take Exit 49C, I-66 west (left exit).

Metrorail extension
Two right lanes of Chain Bridge Road (Route 123) south will close between the DullesToll Road (Route 267) and Scotts Crossing Road for utility work from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.
