I-395 North slow

Here's a look at the traffic issues facing commuters across the region this morning:

8:55 A.M. UPDATE:

-- An accident on 35th Street and Reservoir Road in Northwest is slowing traffic in that area.

-- Same Virginia traffic woes as before: I-66 East and I-395 North are very congested.

8:35 A.M. UPDATE:

-- There's heavy traffic on I-395 North at the 14th Street Bridge and King Street.

-- There's also still heavy traffic on I-66 East at Nutley Street and N. George Mason Drive.

-- An accident on I-495 North at Braddock Road is blocking the left shoulder.

-- Police and fire activity at 1310 L Street in Northwest could cause delays in the area.

-- An accident at Florida and New York avenues in Northeast could also slow up traffic in the vicinity.

8:10 A.M. UPDATE:

-- There's police and fire activity in the 1100 block of 18th Street in Northwest.

-- There's also police and fire activity in the 3700 block of Hayes Street in Northeast.

-- An accident on 4th Street and Michigan Avenue in Northeast might slow traffic there as well.

-- Traffic is heavy on I-66 East at N. George Mason Drive.

-- There's also heavy traffic on I-66 West at Sycamore Street.

-- And the I-395 North traffic continues at the 14th Street Bridge and around King Street.

7:55 A.M. UPDATE:

-- An accident on 15th and K streets in Northwest might cause delays around that area.

-- There's also an accident on 14th and H streets in Northeast, so expect delays in that area as well.

-- The I-95 North accident in Occoquan is now just blocking the right shoulder.

-- I-395 North is slow at King Street and the 14th Street Bridge.

7:35 A.M. UPDATE:

-- An accident on I-95 North in Occoquan has closed the center lane, right lane and right shoulder.

-- Traffic continues to be heavy on I-66 East (at Nutley Street), I-495 North (at Arlington Boulevard) and I-395 North (at the 14th Street Bridge and Duke Street).

7:15 A.M. UPDATE:

-- There's police and fire activity on the 2300 block of 11th Street in Northwest.

-- I-66 East is backed up at Nutley Street.

-- Traffic on I-495 North at Arlington Boulevard is still heavy.

-- And there's still traffic on I-395 North leading to Duke Street.

6:55 A.M. UPDATE:

-- Heavy traffic is building on I-495 North at Arlington Boulevard.

-- There's also heavy traffic on I-66 East at Chain Bridge Road.

6:30 A.M. UPDATE:

-- A disabled vehicle on I-66 East is on the shoulder at Lee Jackson Highway, but it could cause delays.

-- Traffic on I-395 North remains heavy.
