10th St. entrance reopens at U St.
5 P.M. UPDATE: Metro just tweeted that the escalator problem has been resolved.
4:55 P.M. UPDATE: Metro issued this press release about the closure at U Street Station. The statement said the entrance escalators needed emergency maintenance. Crews are on the scene making repairs, according to Metro.
Original post: The 10th Street entrance of U Street-Cardozo Station in the District has been closed due to an escalator problem, Metro said. The 13th Street entrance remains open, Metro said. The station elevator remains in service. Metros escalator disruptions currently list a return to service of April 4 and April 8 for escalators at the station.
