5:20 P.M. UPDATE: Metro reports that there is a track problem outside the East Falls Church Station, which is slowing the Orange Line. We're checking to see if this is a cracked rail, too, or something else.
5:10 P.M. UPDATE: Red Line trains are operating at reduced speeds near Woodley Park station due to a cracked rail that was discovered at about 10:30 am today in the direction of Glenmont. A temporary brace was put in place on the cracked portion, which will be replaced with a new piece of track overnight tonight, according to Metro spokeswoman Lisa Farbstein.
