Vigil honors those killed in work zones

Transportation workers killed in roadway work zones will be honored at a vigil outside the Virginia Department of Transportation's central office in Richmond.

The vigil is scheduled for 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday on the office's front lawn.

Speakers include Secretary of Transportation Sean T. Connaughton and acting VDOT Commissioner Greg Whirley.
