Accident at 17th and Constitution
2:55 p.m. Update: Officers are still on the scene directing traffic, but traffic is flowing freely and a fire truck that was on the scene has left. of course, as we move into the pm. rush hour, expect heavy volume on Constitution.
Original post: D.C. Fire/EMS officials say an accident at 17th and Constitution Ave. NW will cause traffic issues this afternoon. The intersection is partially blocked. According to officials, three vehicles were involved. Traffic cameras show emergency personnel on the scene directing traffic, which doesn't appear to be suffering huge delays.

A tip:
When you write "Conn. Ave. " people are going to assume Connecticut Ave, not Constitution.
