Bay Bridge traffic likely to be heavy
With spring temperatures forecast and a NASCAR race on tap in Dover, traffic crossing the Chesapeake Bay Bridge to the Eastern Shore is expected to be unusually heavy this weekend.
The Maryland Transportation Authority, which operates the twin-span bridge, said that, weather permitting, two-way operations would be implemented on what normally is the westbound bridge, helping to reduce delays when eastbound traffic is at it's worst. The MTA encouraged drivers to travel at off-peak ours whenever possible.
Conditions on the bridge can be obtained by calling 877-229-7726, and live traffic cameras can be accessed at baybridge.com.

I think it's spelled "Chesapeake", not "Chesapeak" as it is over in the left hand column.
