Lane closures cause inner loop delays

Traffic cameras show major delays are persisting on the inner loop at Telegraph Rd. Traffic is stop-and-go through the construction zone. The following screengrab from a camera at 495 and Rt. 1 shows traffic in the area.

With crews narrowing the inner loop to one lane near Telegraph Rd. for a bridge project, officials predicted traffic backups of up to 15 miles in the area this weekend. True to predictions, traffic has already started to stack up this morning. Traffic cameras show a creeping line of cars on the inner loop near Rt. 1.
The inner loop project is just one of many that will cause commuter headaches this weekend. Dr. Gridlock has a complete rundown.
