Beltway jammed up at I-66

8:50 A.M. UPDATE:

-- The I-95 South accident after the B.W. Parkway has been cleared.

-- An accident on I-95 North/the Beltway at Clermont Avenue is blocking the north left lane.

-- I-66 East is backed up at the Beltway.

-- I-495 North is even more jammed up at I-66.

8:25 A.M. UPDATE:

-- The accident on I-95 South after the B.W. Parkway is now blocking one southbound lane and both southbound shoulders.

-- The traffic on I-66 East at Nutley Street has gotten worse.

-- So had the buildup on I-495 North at I-66.

8:05 A.M. UPDATE:

-- The delays on I-66 East leading up to Nutley Street aren't abating. And a disabled vehicle a few miles before Nutley Street is blocking the east left lane, which is sure not to help the situation.

-- I-495 North is still very backed up at I-66.

-- An accident on I-95 South just past the Baltimore-Washington Parkway has blocked two southbound lanes, both southbound shoulders and one northbound shoulder.

7:35 A.M. UPDATE:

-- The disabled vehicle on I-95 South at Powder Mill Road is still there and could delay southbound traffic.

-- A disabled vehicle is blocking the right shoulder of I-95 North at the Springfield Interchange.

-- Traffic is heavily backed up on I-495 North at I-66.

-- I-66 East is still backed up at Nutley Street.

7:15 A.M. UPDATE:

-- The ramp has reopened from Annapolis Road at I-95.

-- There's a disabled vehicle on I-95 South at Powder Mill Road.

-- I-66 East at Nutley Street is incredibly backed up.

6:55 A.M. UPDATE:

-- I-66 East has gotten even more congested at Nutley Street.

-- I-95 North is backed up leading towards Lorton and the Springfield Interchange.

-- I-66 East is getting backed up at Sudley Road as well.

-- I-395 North remains congested and slow in several spots.

-- An accident on Annapolis Road/MD 450 at I-95/the Beltway is blocking the westbound right off-ramp.

6:30 A.M. UPDATE:

-- I-395 North is very congested at Glebe Road and Duke Street.

-- I-66 East is backed up at Nutley Street.

6:15 A.M. UPDATE:

The shoulders are still blocked on I-495 South and I-66 West. This could cause delays and congestion for commuters in Virginia.
