Headaches on the horizon

ICC at I-95
From midnight to 5 a.m. each night through Thursday night, Interstate 95 might be shut for 15 minute intervals because of construction in the Intercounty Connector work zone.

Dulles Rail project
The entrance ramp from southbound Route 123 to the southbound Capital Beltway (outer loop) will close between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. each night through Wednesday night. Crews will be installing a large reinforced iron cage for pier construction in that area.

Telegraph Road/Beltway
The ramps from southbound Telegraph Road to the outer loop and from northbound Telegraph Road to the inner loop are closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday and Tuesday nights. Drivers who want to reach the outer loop should take Telegraph Road to Huntington Avenue to northbound Route 1 to the outer loop ramp. Drivers who want to reach the inner loop should take Pershing Avenue to Stovall Street to Mill Road to southbound Telegraph to the inner loop ramp.



Beltway HOT lanes project
This work is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. through 5 a.m.
-- Three right lanes and the collector distributor road of I-495 north will close at Little River Turnpike (Route 236) for bridge demolition.
-- I-395 north at the Beltway will close for steel beam erection.
-- Leesburg Pike (Route 7) west at the Beltway will close for bridge work.

I-95 widening project
Three left lanes of I-95 north will be closed at Lorton Road (Route 642) from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge joint repair. Lane closures begin at Gordon Boulevard (Route 123).

Metro night delays
Red Line: After 10 p.m. each night through Thursday, add 20 minutes to a trip between Grosvenor and Medical Center. Metro is replacing rail fasteners.

After 10 p.m. each night through Thursday, add half an hour to a trip between Rhode Island Avenue and Fort Totten. Metro is working on the surface underneath the tracks in that area.

Blue/Yellow lines: After 11 p.m. each night through Thursday, add at least half an hour between Braddock Road and Pentagon City. Metro is replacing rail fasteners.

Green Line: After 10 p.m. each night through Thursday, add at least 20 minutes between Branch Avenue and Suitland. Metro is replacing rail fasteners.
