I-395 North jammed at 14th St Bridge
8:35 A.M. UPDATE:
-- I-66 East is still backed up at Nutley Street, though it's slightly improved.
-- I-395 North is still backed up at the 14th Street Bridge, Glebe Road and Duke Street.
-- I-495 North is still badly congested heading to I-66.
8:05 A.M. UPDATE:
-- I-395 North is now also congested at the 14th Street Bridge, as well as Duke Street and Glebe Road.
-- I-66 East is still heavily backed up at Nutley Street.
-- And I-495 North is still very heavily packed at I-66.
-- An accident on I-495 North at Gallows Road is blocking the left shoulder.
7:40 A.M. UPDATE:
-- I-395 North is still jammed up.
-- I-66 East is also still very backed up.
-- And I-495 North remains slow heading to I-66.
7:20 A.M. UPDATE:
-- The MD 295 South accident has been cleared.
-- I-395 North is still backed up and moving slowly.
-- I-66 East is also still very congested.
-- I-495 North is very slow leading to I-66.
7 A.M. UPDATE:
-- An accident on MD 295 South at MD 197 could slow southbound traffic.
-- I-395 North is still backed up.
-- So is I-66 East.
-- I-495 North is also very slow leading to Gallows Road.
6:40 A.M. UPDATE:
-- The Germantown Road ramp has reopened at I-270 South.
-- I-395 North is congested from Duke Street back to the Springfield Interchange. It's also still backed up at Glebe Road.
-- I-66 East is incredibly backed up at Nutley Street.
6:15 A.M. UPDATE:
-- The Germantown Road off-ramp is still closed at I-270 South. The Montgomery County Police had a very brief pursuit with someone who got out of their car and ran away. He's now in custody and they're getting ready to tow his car, an official said. The roadway will reopen in about 20 minutes.
-- The disabled vehicle has been moved from I-270 North.
-- I-395 North is backed up leading to Glebe Road.
-- I-66 East is backed up at Nutley Street.
-- Police activity is blocking the westbound right off-ramp on Germantown Road/MD 118 at I-270 South in Germantown.
-- There is also a disabled vehicle on I-270 North at W. Diamond Avenue/MD 117 in Gaithersburg.
