MARC slowed by train congestion
Heavy freight train congestion will cause MARC Camden Line trains to run on a single track, according to the Maryland Transit Administration. This congestion between Riverdale and Muirkirk is expected to cause delays in each direction.
As one example, Camden Line train 842 left the District 20 minutes late due to the congestion. However, the MTA reports that the freight congestion is beginning to clear up.
