NTSB to hold aviation safety forum

The National Transportation Safety Board plans to hold a three-day "Professionalism in Aviation" safety forum beginning on May 18 at its L'Enfant Plaza headquarters in Washington.

NTSB Chairman Deborah A.P. Hersman will chair the forum, which will be open to the public. Ten panels composed of experts from the corporate world, government and academia will discuss developing and maintaining professionalism in pilots and air traffic controllers.

Tuesday, May 18
