P.M. commute turning into a nightmare
6:50 p.m. Update: Emergency officials just tweeted that there are five or six people injured in the incident on 295. None of the injuries are serious, they said.
Original post: In addition to the earlier accident on Connecticut Avenue, we're now seeing tweets from D.C. Fire/ EMS officials that a vehicle is on fire at 23rd and N streets NW. Also, there is an accident at DC 295 and Route 50. Officials tweeted that multiple vehicles are involved and there are several injured.
