Va. teen dies in prom night crash
Virginia state police say a King George teenager died and four other youths suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash.
Virginia State Police spokesman T. J. Molnar says 16-year-old passenger Anthony Feather died Sunday at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg. Feather and three others weren't wearing seat belts and were ejected from a sport utility vehicle that ran off Route 218 and struck a utility pole about 1 a.m., police said.
Molnar says speed was a factor in the crash, which is still being investigated.
The youths were on their way to a party after the King George County High School prom.
