Forest Glen station reopened
Update 7p.m.: Metro reports that electricity has been restored at the station.
Original post:The Forest Glen station on Metro's Red line is currently closed due to a power outage rendering its elevators--the station is the only one without escalators--out of service. Trains can pass through the station, but those who parked there, or live nearby, will need to take a shuttle from one of the neighboring stations.
Stay tuned to Washingtonpost.com for status updates as the rush hour begins.
