Will LiLo Show at Lotus?
Samantha Ronson, whom US Weekly readers know as
Lindsey Lindsay Lohan's better half, is DJing at Lotus on Thursday night for Hollywood Vibes Come to K Street, a fundraiser for the Children's Miracle Network. She'll be providing the tunes from 11 to close, according to Lotus owner Michael Romeo. (To cut off the inevitable questions: Lindsay was in New York earlier this week to launch a new line of leggings, but who knows if she's still on the East Coast?)
The theme is "Hollywood," but the guest list on a press release is quite a grab bag of names: Miss Washington D.C. Kate Grinold, former "Bachelor" Andy Baldwin, former Redskins Brian Mitchell and Doc Walker, A Tribe Called Quest's Phife Dog, Nationals Mascot Teddy Roosevelt, sportscaster Chick Hernandez. (Honestly, there are some better celebrities lineups at some of this weekend's Howard Homecoming parties.)
Ronson has been in the news a lot for "OMG she's dating/gonna marry LiLo!" angle than her DJing, but let's go back to the music for a minute, as hard as that may be. She's recorded for Roc-A-Fella records -- one of her songs was in "Mean Girls" -- and she's spun at plenty of celebrity-filled bashes, from the VMAs to Jessica Simpson's birthday to, uh, the ElleGirl Prom and Teen Vogue party.
If you're dying to see Ronson somewhere other than a supermarket checkout line, you're in luck. This party is open to the public: General admission tickets are $40, and tables cost $250 per person. Bottle service comes with a minimum tab of $750, while tables in the VIP room -- with the celebrities! -- are $1,500. (All proceeds from the party go to charity, we should add.)
Doors open at 9; get there on the early side to watch the "red carpet arrivals" of the celebrities and to partake of an open bar from 9 to 10:30.
