Dinner with Tom Sietsema is a pretty tasty prize, apparently.
Readers submitted more than 250 photos to our online gallery for a crack at this gastronomic opportunity. Today, we unveiled the 10 finalists. Check them out here and then cast your vote for the best. The winner scores the meal; four runners-up receive $100 AMEX gift cards.
The polls close on Dec. 5. Happy voting.

Exactly. If I would have known we could just submit food photography, I would have submitted *MUCH* Better pictures.
I vote for none of them. There were better pictures that DID follow the rules that weren't picked as finalists.

Hi folks, we picked the finalists at random, and as a result, we got a mix of the types of photos in the entire gallery. The voting phase allows you the chance to pick the one you like the best, so you can vote for food or against food, if you like.

Why in the world did you choose pictures of food? Wasn't this contest all about taking pictures of people celebrating at restaurants?
