Happy hour with the Gurus: bonus edition
We've been talking about the Passenger, a bar in the Warehouse Theater space, since it opened in November. The neighborhood lounge is known for its mixologists' personalized approaches to cocktails: you tell them what kinds of drinks you like, and they'll craft something just for your palate.
If you haven't been to check it out yet, consider Monday night the perfect time to go. From 5-8 p.m., the Gurus will be there for a special happy hour: 10 percent of the bar's proceeds will go to Share Our Strength, a charity that helps fight childhood hunger. When you come in, sign up for our raffle. We'll give away two pairs of tickets to bartending classes at the Passenger and two tickets to Taste of the Nation on April 12, a fundraiser for Share Our Strength where you can sample dishes from more than 60 of the city's best restaurants.
Can't make it Monday? Mark your calendar for the monthly Going Out Guide happy hour. Our next one is 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11, at the Big Hunt.
