Longtime friends and collaborators Carole King and James Taylor are reuniting for a world tour, 40 years after they first performed together at the famous Troubadour Tavern in Los Angeles. Tickets for the June 8 show at Verizon Center go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster (202-397-7328) and Live Nation (877-598-8696).

Here are the other upcoming shows you can snag tickets for this week:

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketfly or 877-435-9849 for these shows at the 9:30 club:
Rodrigo y Gabriela, March 1 ($35)
Jack's Mannequin, Vedera and Sunday's Roulette, March 4 ($29.50)
Pat Green, March 6 ($35)
Jamie Cullum and Imelda May, March 7 ($35)
STS9 and Two Fresh, March 13 (with Ana Sia, March 14) ($22.50).

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster for:
Puscifer, March 5 at the Lincoln Theatre ($40)

Free tickets will be available beginning Monday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster for Musicians From Marlboro, Feb. 4 at Freer Gallery.

Free tickets will be available beginning Wednesday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster for Shepherd School of Music, March 4, and Vienna Piano Trio, March 5, at the Library of Congress.
