By Fritz Hahn

As the snow fell Tuesday, some bars in Adams Morgan seemed close to weekend levels with no spare seats to be found. And if you Ineed evidence of the crowds who will even brave a storm to go out to their favorite watering holes, see this video of Stoney's from last night.

These bars are open today, and we'll be adding more as we hear about them. Help us out by adding your favorites in the comments.

Does it make you feel powerful to have people risk their life so that you are not bored? I am sure the staff does not have an easy commute and will not be paid even part of what they should.

While I understand the obvious choice to post this information by time-of-notification, it's probably the most useless way to assemble this stuff.

Hey Fritz? How about grouping them by neighborhood? Or, if you're not even going to do that, at least put an address with each place. I would love to go out somewhere, but I'm not going to sit here and google each of these 40-some-odd places to figure out what's close to me or close to another below-ground stop on the red line...

Besides, if you're one of the professional "Going Out Gurus", you should at least know the neighborhoods right off the top of your head for most of these places!!
