Free Summer Saturdays
For the second year, the Corcoran Gallery is waiving admission fees every Saturday, starting this week through Labor Day weekend. The museum will offer a different mix of activities every week, from live music to theater performances to a community art project, and this Saturday you can catch free tours and have a chance to sketch a live model. Visitors can also take the opportunity to check out the Corcoran's current exhibition, on view until July 18 -- "Helios: Eadweard Muybridge in a Time of Change" -- which takes a look at the man best known for animating photos of horses and people.
