Hot tickets: HFStival, the Dead Weather, Alice in Chains

By Alex Baldinger

Art Alexakis and Everclear play HFStival 2010 Sept. 18 (Robert A. Reeder/The Washington Post)

That guy to the right? That's Art Alexakis of Everclear rocking the adoring RFK Stadium crowd during the 1996 HFStival. How old does that make you feel? The good news (we think it's good news, anyway) is that you'll have the chance to re-live the heady alt-rock 90s when the HFStival dusts itself off at Merriweather Post Pavilion on Sept. 18. The lineup reads like the soundtrack to the Clinton years: Third Eye Blind, Billy Idol, the Presidents of the United States of America, Fuel, Lit, Marcy Playgound, Everclear and more. Tickets ($35-$50) go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketfly.
