Hot Tickets: Tyler Perry, Rascal Flatts, Kele of Bloc Party

Tyler Perry seems to have the closest thing to the Midas touch in Hollywood these days. Now, coming to a theater, err, mega arena, near you, Perry is bringing his popular character Madea, the sassy grandmother who likes she could have starred for the Redskins, and her extended family for a stage play. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster for five appearances in Sept. 24-26 at Verizon Center ($50-$70).

Tickets go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. through Ticketfly for these shows at the 9:30 club:
• Galactic, Aug. 6 ($25).
• Kele of Bloc Party with Jessica 6, Aug. 7 ($25).
• Something Corporate, Aug. 10-11 ($32.50).
Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation for:
• Budweiser Superfest, featuring Anthony Hamilton, Kem, Jaheim and Raheem Devaughn, Aug. 6 at Jiffy Lube Live ($31-$89.75).
• Mike Birbiglia, Oct. 15 at Warner Theatre ($55).
Tickets go on sale Friday at noon through Ticketmaster for these shows at Birchmere:
• Fountains Of Wayne, Oct. 4-5 ($29.50).
• Terri Clark, Nov. 9 ($35).
Tickets go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation for Rascal Flatts, Aug. 14 at Jiffy Lube Live ($29.25-$69.25).
Free tickets will be available beginning Monday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster for Robert Thurman-Marylin Rhie, Kandell Tibetan Shrine, July 10 at Freer Gallery.
