2010 Summer Restaurant Week dates and locations announced
Yesterday, the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington and Destination DC revealed the dates and participating restaurants for summer Restaurant Week. From August 16th to the 22nd enjoy fixed price lunches and dinners at almost 200 local eateries. It feels like this promotion grows every year.
Here's the breakdown: lunches will run you $20.10 and dinners $35.10, which doesn't includes beverages, tax or tips.
The full list is available at the Restaurant Association's web page, and it's a doozy. I think the best strategy is to aim for pricey, but established, and make your reservations early. Personally I'm looking at 2941, 701, Bourbon Steak, J&G Steakhouse, Masa 14, the Oval Room, Rasika, Ris, Westend Bistro , Zentan and Zola.
Of course many restaurants will be extending their restaurant week pricing after the event, and as that information comes out we will make it available here along with some sample menus.
