Signature Theatre Open House
Signature Theatre's lineup for its open house Saturday is sure to delight fans of the stage and the small screen. Among the special guests paying a visit to Shirlington is Clinton Kelly, better known as the quick-witted co-host of TLC's "What Not to Wear," and he'll be doing what he does best -- judging. But instead of dishing out sartorial advice, Kelly will be helping aspiring theater stars during "Signature Idol" (full disclosure: Post theater critic Peter Marks will also be on the panel). Along with that entertaining contest, visitors can catch performances by Capital Fringe Festival regulars Dizzy Miss Lizzie's Roadside Revue performing last year's Fringe hit "The Saints," a bluesy retelling of the stories of Saints Francis of Assisi and Augustine among other Catholic standouts. There will also be cabaret performances, a sneak peek of Signature's next season and a chance to test out your tap-dancing skills with a free master class.
