Speed dating with artists tonight
You don't have to be single to enjoy this unusual brand of speed dating. The Arlington Arts Center and the Pink Line Project are hosting a happy-hour event that allows collectors, aspiring patrons and run-of-the-mill art fans to interview 20 artists for three minutes each. The event, in conjunction with the Arlington Arts Center exhibition "Art Scouts," will draw from those artists on display, such as David Page and Jerry Kaba. Other local stand-outs ready to take your art-related questions are Mary Early, Jason Horowitz, Ding Ren and Victoria F. Gaitan. Work up your courage and plot out your inquiries during the happy hour, which begins at 5 p.m. at Poste, followed by the "dating" game at 6 p.m.
