Howard County Fair
Fair season is in full swing, and the Howard County Fair, which runs though Saturday, is a great bargain, with $5 admission. Although tickets for rides cost a little extra, that $5 gives you the opportunity to see the chainsaw art, petting barns, magic shows and pig races. Festivities also include live music, riding demonstrations, the third annual skid steer competition, a mule pulling competition, tractor race, goat show, iron chef competition and all the fried food you can handle.
