Feline fanciers herd their cats to Dulles this weekend
The Going Out Guide staff has mixed feeling about Felis catus. We praise their hunting ability and cleanliness but complain about their aloofness and tendency to torture the allergic. But no such mixed feelings exist at the National Capital Cat Show, where, as you might imagine, cat supporters reign.

P.J. Clarke's comes to K Street
The space at 1600 K St. NW has had a hard time keeping tenants: first Todd English's Olives closed in the middle of 2009, then Scott Conant backed out of plans to open a new Scarpetta there later the same year. Now, Phil Scotti and the folks behind P.J. Clarke's are making a go of it, and, if the major renovations going on at the site are any indication, they intend to stay a while.
