Hot tickets: The Walkmen, George Clinton, Gov't Mule
Though they call New York home these days, members of the Walkmen spent their formative years at D.C.'s St. Alban's School, as our own David Malitz pointed out in his review of Lisbon, the band's fifth album.
The guys will be back in town on Dec. 3 at the 9:30 Club. It's always nice to give hometown boys some love upon their return. But the Walkmen are, you know, quite good, so that should be reason enough. If that's not enough for you, the lounge rock husband-and-wife duo Tennis is opening. Tickets are $18 and go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. through Ticketfly.
