Hot tickets: Robert Plant, Linkin Park, the Avett Brothers

David Malitz already gave you the lowdown on rap-rock survivors Linkin Park over on Click Track (If you didn't see it, they headline Verizon Center on Feb. 10. Tickets are $42.50-$72.50 go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.)
Robert Plant, the former frontman of Led Zeppelin (C'mon man, we'd love a U.S. tour. Pretty, pretty, please!) collaborated with Alison Krauss in 2007 on the widely-touted Raising Sand. This time around he has formed a group of seasoned country players under the name Band of Joy, the group he was a part of before he trekked over the hills and far away. The new incarnation of the group plays DAR Constitution Hall on Feb. 1. Tickets are $53.50 and go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

Tickets go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. through Ticketfly for Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Jan. 1 at the 9:30 Club ($25).

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation for "Stomp" Jan. 25-30 at the Warner Theatre ($37-$57).

TNA Wrestling Live!, Jan. 15 at Show Place Arena ($25-$50).
Chris Tomlin, March 17 at Baltimore's 1st Mariner Arena ($20.50-$31.50).

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Jan. 11 at Birchmere ($35).
Lyle Lovett & John Hiatt, Jan. 18, 19 and 23 at Birchmere ($110).
