Trivia, anyone? Join the Gurus at Bedrock Billiards

We know there are a lot of smarty-pantses in the Going Out Guide crowd, and now is your chance to prove it: In celebration of the holiday season, the Gurus are hosting a five-round trivia smackdown at Bedrock Billiards on Sunday, Dec. 5.

Form a team, bring your friends and tax your brain to win bar tabs, DVDs and other prizes. Quizmaster Fritz Hahn's questions start flying at 8 p.m. He is really ruthless when it comes to trivia, so you should consider bringing your A-game.

There are just a couple of rules you need to follow:

Teams should consist of no more than five people. If your group is larger, we may ask you to break into two teams, or have a few folks join another small team. (You may even make new friends in the process!)

Space is limited, so early arrival is suggested. You must be 21 or older to enter Bedrock. There will be a prize for the best team name, so start thinking creatively. No using cell phones, BlackBerrys or other mobile devices during the game. We would hate to assume you're cheating!

We'll have more details on prizes as the date approaches, but suffice it to say, the Six Million Dollar Man Complete Collection I have sitting on my desk might just make an appearance.
