Waiting for 'Harry Potter' at the Uptown
When a major movie like "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows -- Part 1" comes out, diehard fans flock to see it at the Uptown, one of the few single-screen theaters still around. Few other theaters can match its curved screen, balcony or its lines. The lines aren't for the tickets -- those sell out online ahead of time -- they're the people with tickets waiting to get the perfect seats. The queue of moviegoers goes down the block and around the corner, and it starts early. How early?
Veteran Uptown buffs, help out the newbies. Join in our poll to tell us how you like to prep for your Uptown experience.
