After a five month hiatus, Capitol Hill institution Bullfeathers will reopen on Monday with a new design and new management. If that thought gives you pause, take solace in the fact that the new owners are hardly rookies when it comes to successfully re-imagining classic neighborhood joints - Med Lahlou, Anthony Harrison and Billy Walls are partners at Stoney's, the Logan Circle watering hole that has survived and thrived since the restaurant moved in 2006. Walls will be managing the day to day operations of the new-look Bullfeathers when it opens, just in time for the State of the Union address. "We made it into our idea of what Bullfeathers should be," explained Walls, "a traditional American style of bar instead of a gas-lamp or Irish-style pub."
