Getting Up Guide: Restaurant Week and bootleg "Reals"
A quick serving of today's what-and-where:
D.C. Restaurant Week
You know the drill: three-course dinners for $35.11 at participating restaurants all over town. And judging by our sources (okay, OpenTable) there are still plenty of two-tops up for grabs, and not just at off-prime hours, either.
"Reals"
Taffety Punk riffs on its popular Bootleg Shakespeare tradition (rehearsing a play for one day before performing it), turning instead to a contemporary play by the company's playwright-in-residence Gwydion Suilebhan. The show starts at 8 p.m.
See You Next Tuesday
DJ People's Champion, who founded the electro-friendly dance party back in 2006 before moving to Berlin, returns for a special engagement at Wonderland.
