Today in Food: Local chefs shed pounds
Think keeping your weight-loss resolution is challenging? Try keeping your weight down while working in the area's best kitchens. In this week's Food Section, David Hagedorn spoke with six local chefs, Gillian Clark, Mike Isabella, Cathal Armstrong, Will Artley, Bryan Moscatello and Robert Wiedmaier, about their efforts to trim the fat.
In the vino column, Jason Wilson comes to the defense of white wine, complete with seasonally appropriate suggestions.
In the beer column, Greg Kitsock suggests that 2011 may be the year that D.C. becomes known for its craft beer scene.
Tom Sietsema visits a new destination for Indian in Dupont, which he gives high marks for its menu, but an "incomplete" on its coffee selection..
And in Good to Go, Timothy Smith checks in at Java Junction in Gaithersburg.
