Week 8 NFL picks
Bengals over Dolphins I keep picking the Bengals and they keep losing. I will try them one more time.
Cowboys over Jaguars The Jags are still on the mend. They won't have an answer for the Dallas defense.
Redskins over Lions This is a payback game for the Redskins from last season.
Chiefs over Bills This will be a good game. The Bills are improving, but the Chiefs are balling right now.
Rams over Panthers The two stud QBs of the last draft class. I think Bradford will get the best of Clausen.
Jets over Packers The Jets are playing too well to lose to the Packers. LT is on fire. The Packers have no running game.
Broncos over 49ers I really want to pick the 49ers but I don't believe this team believes it can win any more. It's hard enough to win when a team does believe.
Titans over Chargers The Titans are just a better team.
Bucs over Cardinals The Cards are struggling and the Bucs are surprisingly pretty good.
Patriots over Vikings The Vikes don't have a chance, with or without Favre.
Raiders over Seahawks After their thrashing of Denver, the Raiders may have figured it out.
Colts over Texans This is a rubber match, and I really want to pick the Texans but I think it's a hard sell to say a team can win against Manning twice in one season.
Steelers over Saints The Saints are clearly not the same team they were a year ago and neither are the Steelers. The Steel City team is much improved. They roll.
Byes: Falcons, Ravens, Bears, Browns, Giants, Eagles

I know Bradford is going to be a "stud", but still trying to figure out when did Clausen become a "stud" too.

Lavar: you can't please everybody and SOME of these guys will hate EVERYthing you write or say JUST BECAUSE you said it. Some of 'em are bitter as hell and anti "a bunch of things..." Don't let it get you down. Besides, at best, these are all "educated guesses."

BTW: except for San Francisco, my picks were exactly the same...

Keep it nice and simple Lavar, you are a nice DC stand alone change. Keep it up.

Rubber matches are when at least 2 games have been played and each has won the same about (like if the Colts win this one, and they meet in the playoffs, that would be the rubber match).
At least he's not covering the Caps...

Nothing better than a "columnist" not doing his homework... Matt Moore, not Jimmy Clausen, will be starting for the Carolina Panthers... And they wonder why the Lavar and Dukes show is a joke....
