Senate Health Committee Releases Reform Bill
By Ceci Connolly
The Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee has released its comprehensive health reform bill, though it contains fewer details than an earlier draft circulated Friday.
Over the weekend, reaction was mixed to the draft written by aides to Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.). It is by far the most liberal, most expensive approach being considered on Capitol Hill.
A hearing has been scheduled for Thursday at 3 p.m. ET.
